Essential Eligibility for Series 9/10
Potential candidates must be registered with a FINRA member firm or another self-regulatory organization and must have previously passed the Series 7 General Securities Representative test.
Grasping the Series 9/10 Test Content
The Series 9/10 exams are composed of 215 multiple-choice questions: 60 for Series 9 and 145 for Series 10. The exams also have 15 unscored questions randomly distributed. You have 90 minutes to complete Series 9, and four hours for Series 10. A minimum score of 70% is needed to pass.
